The Danish Refugee Council (DRC), Kosovo operation, is calling for the submission of applications for funds from local Non-Governmental Organizations in Kosovo (LNGOs) in the Pristina and Mitrovicë/Mitrovica Regions within the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) funded project “Support Social Entrepreneurship and Promoting Social-economic Empowerment in Minority Communities and Other Vulnerable Groups in Kosovo 2023-2025”.

The aim of the call for project proposals is to address the challenges faced by women and girls, men and boys of Roma, Ashkalia, and Egyptian communities as well as other vulnerable groups related to their social inclusion, and raise their awareness of health issues, access rights, education, promotion of gender equality, promotion of health, and environmental awareness.

Call for applications for the scholarship for completing secondary education

The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) has initiated an application process to solicit candidates for scholarships designed to support the educational aspirations of young individuals hailing from marginalized backgrounds, such as the Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian communities, along with other vulnerable demographic groups. These vulnerable groups encompass girls, boys, women, and men facing precarious living conditions, particularly those exposed to socioeconomic risks, survivors of violence, domestic abuse, human trafficking, and individuals with disabilities. This scholarship program in Kosovo aims to facilitate the successful completion of secondary education.

These scholarships will be granted to young individuals belonging to the aforementioned ethnic groups who have either completed their primary education or discontinued their secondary education but exhibit a strong determination to resume and complete their secondary education. Recipients of the scholarships are expected to demonstrate a sincere commitment to fulfilling the requirements outlined by the scholarship program.

The scholarship provisions encompass the coverage of tuition fees and the provision of essential learning materials for eligible candidates over the course of an academic year. Additionally, refreshments and transportation expenses may be provided as needed. All individuals interested in pursuing secondary vocational education and who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to avail themselves of this scholarship program. Young men and women who, for various reasons, have interrupted their secondary education are strongly encouraged to submit their applications.

Prospective applicants must adhere to the following eligibility prerequisites:

  1. Ethnicity and Age: Candidates must belong to the Roma, Ashkalia, Egyptian and any other minority ethnic groups and fall within the age bracket of 15 to 35 years. (Applications from individuals who exceed the age of 35 yet meet the specified criteria are also strongly encouraged and welcomed.)

  2. Residency: Applicants should be residents of the municipality (any municipalities of these two regions), including rural areas, within the Mitrovicë/a or Pristina regions.

  3. Educational Credentials: Possession of either a primary school completion certificate or evidence of having completed any class within the secondary education system is required.

All interested candidates are cordially invited to submit the following documentation:

  • A duly attested copy of the primary school completion certificate.

  • A certified copy of certificates confirming the completion of any high school classes (if applicable).

  • A valid copy of their identification card.

Thirrje për aplikime për bursë për përfundimin e arsimit të mesëm

Këshilli Danez për Refugjatë (DRC) ka iniciuar një proces aplikimi për të kërkuar kandidatë për bursa të dizajnuara për të mbështetur aspiratat arsimore të individëve të rinj që vijnë nga grupet e margjinalizuara, si komunitetet rom, ashkali dhe egjiptian, së bashku me grupet e tjera demografike të cenueshme. Këto grupe të cenueshme përfshijnë vajzat, djemtë, gratë dhe burrat që përballen me kushte të vështira jetese, veçanërisht ata të ekspozuar ndaj rreziqeve socio-ekonomike, të mbijetuarit e dhunës, abuzimit në familje, trafikimit të qenieve njerëzore dhe individët me aftësi të kufizuara. Ky program i bursave në Kosovë synon të lehtësojë përfundimin me sukses të arsimit të mesëm.

Këto bursa do t'u jepen individëve të rinj që i përkasin grupeve etnike të lartpërmendura, të cilët ose kanë përfunduar arsimin fillor ose kanë ndërprerë arsimin e mesëm, por shfaqin një vendosmëri të fortë për të rifilluar dhe përfunduar arsimin e mesëm. Përfituesit e bursave pritet të demonstrojnë një angazhim të sinqertë për përmbushjen e kërkesave të përshkruara nga programi i bursave.

Dispozitat e bursave përfshijnë mbulimin e tarifave të shkollimit dhe sigurimin e materialeve thelbësore mësimore për kandidatët e kualifikuar gjatë një viti akademik. Përveç kësaj, shpenzimet e ushqimi dhe transportit mund të sigurohen sipas nevojës. Të gjithë individët e interesuar për të ndjekur arsimin e mesëm profesional dhe që plotësojnë kriteret e pranueshmërisë inkurajohen të përfitojnë nga ky program bursash. Të rinjtë dhe të rejat të cilët për arsye të ndryshme kanë ndërprerë arsimin e mesëm inkurajohen fuqimisht të paraqesin aplikimet e tyre.

Aplikantët e mundshëm duhet t'u përmbahen kushteve të mëposhtme të pranueshmërisë:

1. Përkatësia etnike dhe mosha: Kandidatët duhet t'i përkasin grupeve etnike rom, ashkali, egjiptian dhe çdo grupi tjetër pakicë dhe të jenë brenda grupmoshës 15 deri në 35 vjeç. (Aplikimet nga individë që e kalojnë moshën 35 vjeç por që plotësojnë kriteret e specifikuara inkurajohen dhe mirëpriten fuqimisht.)

2. Vendbanimi: Aplikantët duhet të jenë banorë të komunës (çdo komune të këtyre dy rajoneve), duke përfshirë zonat rurale, brenda rajonit të Mitrovicës ose Prishtinës.

3. Kredencialet arsimore: Kërkohet posedimi i një çertifikate të përfundimit të shkollës fillore ose dëshmi për të kryer ndonjë klasë brenda sistemit të arsimit të mesëm.

Të gjithë kandidatët e interesuar janë të ftuar të dorëzojnë dokumentacionin e mëposhtëm:

• Një kopje e vërtetuar vakide e certifikatës së përfundimit të shkollës fillore.

• Një kopje e vërtetuar e certifikatave që konfirmojnë përfundimin e çdo klase të shkollës së mesme (nëse ka).

Poziv za prijavu za stipendiju za završetak srednjeg obrazovanja

 Danski savet za izbeglice (DRC) pokrenuo je proces apliciranja za prikupljanje kandidata za stipendije dizajniran da podrži obrazovne aspiracije mladih pojedinaca koji potiču iz marginalizovanih sredina, kao što su zajednice Roma, Aškalija i Egipćana, zajedno sa drugim ranjivim demografskim grupama. Ove ranjive grupe obuhvataju devojčice, dečake, žene i muškarce koji se suočavaju sa nesigurnim životnim uslovima, posebno one koji su izloženi socio-ekonomskim rizicima, žrtve nasilja, porodičnog nasilja, trgovine ljudima i osobe sa invaliditetom. Ovaj program stipendiranja na Kosovu ima za cilj da omogući uspešan završetak srednjeg obrazovanja.

Ove stipendije će biti dodeljene mladim pojedincima koji pripadaju pomenutim etničkim grupama koji su ili završili osnovno obrazovanje ili prekinuli srednje obrazovanje, ali pokazuju snažnu odlučnost da nastave i završe svoje srednje obrazovanje. Od primalaca stipendija se očekuje da pokažu iskrenu posvećenost ispunjavanju uslova navedenih u programu stipendiranja.

Odredbe o stipendijama obuhvataju pokriće školarine i obezbjeđivanje osnovnih materijala za učenje za kandidate koji ispunjavaju uslove tokom akademske godine. Pored toga, po potrebi se mogu obezbediti osveženje i troškovi prevoza. Svi pojedinci zainteresovani za srednje stručno obrazovanje i koji ispunjavaju kriterijume podobnosti se ohrabruju da iskoriste ovaj program stipendiranja. Mladići i devojke koji su, iz različitih razloga, prekinuli svoje srednje obrazovanje, snažno se podstiču da podnesu svoje prijave.

Potencijalni kandidati moraju da se pridržavaju sledećih preduslova:

1. Etnička pripadnost i godine: Kandidati moraju pripadati etničkim grupama Roma, Aškalija, Egipćana i bilo koje druge manjinske grupe i spadati u starosnu grupu od 15 do 35 godina. (Prijave pojedinaca koji su stariji od 35 godina, ali ispunjavaju navedene kriterijume, takođe se snažno podstiču i pozdravljaju.)

2. Prebivalište: Kandidati treba da budu stanovnici opštine (bilo koje opštine ova dva regiona), uključujući ruralna područja, u regionu Mitrovice ili Prištine.

3. Obrazovne akreditacije: Posedovanje ili uvjerenja o završenoj osnovnoj školi ili dokaza o završenom razredu u okviru srednjeg obrazovnog sistema.

Scholarships will be awarded to young people representing the above-mentioned ethnic groups who have fully completed primary school and/or dropped secondary school and who have a strong willingness to complete secondary education and will be committed to the scholarship requirements.

The scholarship will cover study fees and learning materials for eligible candidates during an academic year as well, if necessary, a daily allowance and transportation costs.

All those who are interested in completing secondary professional education and comply with the eligibility criteria listed below can benefit from this scholarship program. Young men and women who, for whatever reason, have dropped secondary education are encouraged to apply.

Applicants should meet the following eligibility criteria:

-          Be a young man or woman representing Roma, Ashkalia, or Egyptian ethnicity (18-35 years of age);

-          Be a resident of the municipality (including rural areas) in the Mitrovicë/a or Pristina regions;

-          Have certificate about the completion of primary school or a certificate of completion of any class from secondary education;

-          Your parents are getting social assistance from the social welfare department, or your parents are unemployed.

All applicants are invited to submit the following documents:

- A copy of the primary school completion certificate.

Thirrje për aplikime për bursë për përfundimin e arsimit të mesëm

Këshilli Danez për Refugjatë (DRC) hapi një thirrje për aplikime për bursa për të rinjtë dhe të rejat nga komuniteti rom, ashkali dhe egjiptian në Kosovë për përfundimin e shkollës së mesme. Bursat do t'u jepen të rinjve që përfaqësojnë grupet etnike të lartpërmendura, të cilët kanë përfunduar plotësisht shkollën fillore dhe/ose kanë braktisur shkollën e mesme dhe që kanë një vullnet të fortë për të përfunduar arsimin e mesëm dhe do të jenë të përkushtuar ndaj kërkesave të bursave.

Bursa do të mbulojë tarifat e studimit dhe materialet mësimore për kandidatët e kualifikuar gjatë një viti akademik, si dhe nëse është e nevojshme, një pagesë ditore dhe shpenzimet e transportit.

Nga ky program bursash mund të përfitojnë të gjithë ata që janë të interesuar të përfundojnë arsimin e mesëm profesional dhe përmbushin kriteret e pranueshmërisë të listuara më poshtë. Të rinjtë dhe të rejat që, për çfarëdo arsye, kanë braktisur arsimin e mesëm inkurajohen të aplikojnë.

Aplikantët duhet të plotësojnë kriteret e mëposhtme:

-        Të jetë i ri ose e re pjestarë/e të komuniteteteve rom, ashkali ose egjiptian (18-35 vjeç);

-        Të jetë banor i njërës nga komunat (përfshirë zonat rurale) në regjionet Mitrovicë ose Prishtinë:

Danski Savet za Izbeglice (DRC) otvorio je poziv za podnošenje prijava za stipendije za mladiće i devojke iz zajednica Roma, Aškalija i Egipćana na Kosovu za završetak srednjeg obrazovanja. Stipendije će biti dodeljene mladim ljudima koji predstavljaju gore navedene etničke grupe koji su u potpunosti završili osnovnu školu i/ili prekinuli srednju školu i koji imaju jaku volju da završe srednje obrazovanje i biće posvećeni uslovima za stipendiju.

Stipendija će pokriti troškove studija i nastavnog materijala za kandidate koji ispunjavaju uslove tokom akademske godine, kao i, ako je potrebno, dnevnicu i troškove prevoza.

Svi oni koji su zainteresovani za završetak srednjeg stručnog obrazovanja i ispunjavaju dole navedene kriterijume mogu imati benificije od ovog programa stipendiranja. Mladići i devojke koji su, iz bilo kog razloga, prekinuli srednju školu, podstiču se da se prijave.

Kandidati treba da ispune sledeće kriterijume podobnosti:

-          Biti mlada osoba koja dolazi iz romske, aškalijske ili egipćanske zajednica (izmedju 18-35 godina);

-          Da bude stanovnik opštine ((uključujući ruralna područja) iz regiona Mitrovice ili Prištine;

-          Da poseduje svedočanstvo o završenoj osnovnoj školi ili svedočanstvo o završenom bilo kom odeljenju srednjeg obrazovanja;

-          Vaši roditelji primaju socijalnu pomoć od službe socijalne zaštite ili su vam roditelji nezaposleni.
