With the support of Sida, DRC and the Learning Centre collected data on the educational needs of the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian community in Roma Mahalla.
After more than a decade in displacement, Svetlana Nikolic finally returned home to Prizren in March 2013. DRC rebuilt her home in the Nenkalaja / Podkaljaja neighbourhood and guided her through the return and reintegration process.
To date, DRC has assisted the return and reintegration of 23 displaced minority families and individuals to Prizren.

In Mitrovicë/a, the Learning Center in Roma Mahalla gives children from the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian community the opportunity to attend homework support classes and improve their chances to succeed at school.
Danish Refugee Council Kosovo has assisted refugees and IDPs to return, reintegrate and rebuild their livelihoods in Kosovo for more than 15 years, and continues to support returnees' economic and social inclusion through social business incubation, vocational trainings and community development projects.
