The Danish Refugee Council (DRC), Kosovo operation, is calling for the submission of applications for funds from local Non-Governmental Organizations in Kosovo (LNGOs) in the Pristina and Mitrovicë/Mitrovica Regions within the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) funded project “Support Social Entrepreneurship and Promoting Social-economic Empowerment in Minority Communities and Other Vulnerable Groups in Kosovo 2023-2025”.

The aim of the call for project proposals is to address the challenges faced by women and girls, men and boys of Roma, Ashkalia, and Egyptian communities as well as other vulnerable groups related to their social inclusion, and raise their awareness of health issues, access rights, education, promotion of gender equality, promotion of health, and environmental awareness.

Eligible applicants:

· Local Non-Governmental Organizations are eligible to apply.

· Local Non-Governmental Organizations working with Roma, Ashkalia, and Egyptian community are strongly encouraged to apply.

· Non-profit organizations being legally registered in Kosovo.

Eligible Country: Kosovo

Target regions: Mitrovicë/a and Prishtinë/Priština

Duration of project:

Each project duration should not exceed a period of three to four months, with the start no later than Sept 1st, 2024, and be completed by December 31st, 2024, at the latest.

DRC will support the qualified project proposals within the 10,000 EUR max. budget.

The info session for interested applicants will be available online via Teams on 27.03.2024 and 28.03.2024, at 10:00 am.

The deadline for submitting your application is April 20th 2024, at 23:59 pm.

Project Proposal Evaluation stage should be finalized by May 1st 2024.

Applicant Organization Assessment stage should be finalized by May 17th 2024.

The submission of an application will not necessarily result in the award of funds.

The receipt of an application cannot be considered binding for DRC.
