The Danish Refugee Council, Kosovo operation, (DRC) is calling for the submission of applications for funds from local Non-Governmental Organizations in Kosovo (LNGOs) in the Municipalities of Pristina and Mitrovicë/Mitrovica Region within the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida) funded project “Support Social Entrepreneurship and Promoting Social-economic Empowerment in Minority Communities and Other Vulnerable Groups in Kosovo 2023-2025”.

The aim of the call for project proposals is to address the challenges faced by women and girls of Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian communities related to their social inclusion, and raise their awareness of health issues.

Eligible applicants:

Local Non-Governmental Organizations are eligible to apply.

Local Non-Governmental Organizations working with ROMA community are strongly encouraged to apply.

Eligible Country: Kosovo

Target regions: Pristina and Mitrovica

Duration of project:

Each project duration should not exceed a period of three months, with the start no later than November 10th , 2023, and be completed by February 29th , 2024, at the latest.

DRC will support the qualified project proposals within the 20,000 EUR total budget of the Call. A maximum budget per proposal should not exceed 10,000 EUR.

The info session for interested applicants will be available online via Teams on 17.10.2023 at 10:00 am.

Please confirm your participation in info sessions via <xkx-administration@drc.ngo> e-mail address referencing “Request for information sharing session” as a subject of e-mail by sending your Teams address latest by 16.10.2023.,12 am.

The deadline for submitting your application is 29 October 2023 at 12 am by finalizing Administrative screening stage. Application with all required documents should be sent to Kosovo Administration <xkx-administration@drc.ngo>.

Project Proposal Evaluation stage should be finalized by 25th October.

Applicant Organization Assessment stage should be finalized by 27th October.

The submission of an application will not necessarily result in the award of funds.

The receipt of an application cannot be considered binding for DRC.
