Under the economic development component of the Sida-funded project ”Support to Roma, Ashkalia and Egyptian communities in Mitrovicë/a”, the DRC Social Business Incubator (SBI) supports existing and new businesses through mentoring, business advisory services, equipment and work space.

At the SBI premises, DRC is looking for a new occupant for the canteen/cafe space. The 50m2 workshop is equipped with all necessary tools needed to run a canteen/cafe business. In order to be more attractive to customers and the community, the trainees of the SBI Vocational Training Centre, with support of the DRC Engineer, remodelled and planted trees in the garden next to the canteen, to make the surrounding area more inviting and green.

DRC is inviting the community in Roma Mahalla to apply with proposals for a new canteen/cafe business.

Currently, 9 start-up businesses operate within the DRC SBI, offering different services.
